Europe: Live in Japan

What a great performance. I would really thank the band for coming to Japan all the way from Sweden.

I went to Europe’s live last month (April, 2019). I think that the band is widely known for the tune “Final Countdown”, probably.

They performed the tune at the very end of the concert. I saw every one in the audience were jumping up and down, while singing to the chorus “Final Countdown”. That was definitely the climax of the concert.

What I was very happy about it that they played other tunes that were in their old works, like “Seven Doors Hotel”, “In the Future to Come”, “Paradize Bay” etc.

I remember the first time I listened to “Seven Doors Hotel” in the early 1980’s on the radio, I was really fascinated by its melodious introduction led by the keyboard and the guitar phrase coming right after it. The tune is dramatic through the end, and the chorus is very catchy as well as easy to remember. I was very lucky that I had a chance to experience the tune at the concert.

Two weeks passed since the concert, I still enjoy listening to their albums, because the concert was so impressive.
